I am a licensed attorney in New York State and my credit score was medioce at best. During law school I did not care about my credit and left school with a long credit report filled with negative history. It contained tons of old information, many, many late payments, duplicates of law school loans, old charged off credit debts, and some collection reportings. My husband was involved in a disasterous real estate partnership which ended in many months late on two mortgages. Plus, an ex-girl friends car loan he co-signed for, which was reporting late many times. I could go on and on. My husband introduced us to Jerry at Better Qualified and surprisingly, I felt comfortable with him and took the plunge to start working with him. First of all, he gave us a package deal we could not refuse and IMMEDIATELY started working on our credit. We started seeing the results of his work. Every week we would get correspondence from the credit bureaus about the disputes that were being filed on our credit report. It's been about 8 months now and I still can't believe the things that were removed. The ex-girl friend's car . . . gone. One of the mortgage companies with negative lates . . . gone.
